Maternity Packages
Because I get some of the best results with natural light and prefer candid settings, maternity and newborn sessions are done in your home or outdoor on location. The vibrancy of the sun truly make the images come alive like no other light medium can.
With about 2 hours dedicated to each individual photo session, there's plenty of time to create a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of excellent photo opportunities. Once we're done, I'll post the images on a private gallery within 2 weeks of our session to which you'll have access for 3 weeks. This is the perfect time to consider getting for instance a picture album or story board of your session.

What To Expect Of The Photoshoot TOP
Step one - getting ready
Once we have discussed what it is you want to get out of the photo session, either over the phone or in-person it's time to have some fun. After all, these are exciting times! So, put on your bright smile, be yourself and check your wardrobe! Fresh colours will help accentuate your belly and ensure your skin tone does not look flat. Select between 2 to 4 outfits that you like and feel comfortable in. If the baby is included in the session, choose 2 outfits he or she can wear as well.
Step two - the photo shoot
I like to take up to 2 hours for the session so that there is enough time to create a fun and relaxed environment. The choice to stay in your home or find a nearby location is up to you. If time permits, we may be able to do both. My goal is for the images to look candid and fun, so don't worry about posing or looking into the camera. I will guide you along the way. You just have to "be".
Step three - reviewing and selecting the images
The session is now complete and the images will be made available online in a private gallery so that you may review them at your own leisure. The gallery will be accessible within 2 weeks after the session. Select the images you like for matted prints, hardcover book etc. If you are on a budget, consider getting 20 digital files on disc which will come in high and low resolution resolution for 4x6 printing.
Important: When to schedule the portrait session
- Maternity photo shoot session: around week 34-36 of your pregnancy when your belly is nice and big.
- Newborn portrait session: 3 to 5 weeks after birth
- Little babies: 10 to 15 weeks after birth
